Two wonderful examples of Native American beadwork.

The Baranov Museum has a host of exhibits covering Kodiak's history from the native Alutiiq people, through Russian control and the sale of Alaska to the US, right up to today. It is housed in the Erskine House, a 200-year-old National Historic Landmark building.

Now we are off leaving Kodiak behind as we head across the Gulf of Alaska again towards the Hubbard Glacier.
