The present Dice Head Lighthouse went into operation in 1829. There is also a keepers cottage right next to it. The tower is some 42 feet tall, and showed a fixed white light. In1858, a Fourth order Fresnel was installed. A barn was added in 1888, and an oil house in 1895, both of which remain.
