The building that houses the JK Lilly III, Antique Automobile Museum.

Josiah Kirby Lilly, III was heir to Eli Lilly & Company. He started to collect motor cars in the 1960s, but the collection is quite eclectic covering a wide period.

An intensely private man, his philanthropy has benefited thousands of people on Cape Cod, particularly in the Falmouth area.

1922 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Pall Mall Phaeton. It had a six cylinder engine of about 7,400 ccs producing 40 horse power.

1925 Franklin Sport Runabout. Franklin employed the French designer J. Frank deCausse to design the car that featured a tapered rear end often call a "Boattail". Light & agile, and very sporting for its day.

A 1912 Oldsmobile Autocrat.

The Harley-Davidson on the right is a 1936 Knucklehead; the first year of production. It had a 1,000 cc, twin cylinder, OHV engine. It cost about $380, and is now worth upwards of $12,000. The Crocker to the left is 1,200 cc also with a twin cylinder OHV engine.
