The Tall Ship Silva, a schooner run by Ambassatours Gray Line, setting out in Halifax harbor.

Named after King George II, the current Georges Island Lighthouse was built in 1917 replacing an earlier one built in 1876 that burned down in 1916. The keeper's house from 1917 remains standing. A 4th order Fresnel lens was mounted in the old lantern room in 1913. A 270° degree 4th order Fresnel lens was used in the new lighthouse, and it was automated in 1972.

The Wave by sculptor Donna Hiebert; completed in 1988, with a restoration in 2012. It is in Sackville Landing on the waterfront. It represents an ocean wave, and is 30 feet wide by 12 feet tall.

Looking south back towards South Battery Pier. The drunken lampposts called "Fountain" & "Got Drunk, Fell Down". Fountain shoots water into the harbour, while Get Drunk, Fall Down is a collapsed lampost.

Located beside the Ocean Terminal Wharves, which Cunard liners used, this is a bronze statue of Samuel Cunard from 2006.

The Maugher Beach (McNabs Island) Lighthouse. The present structure replaced an earlier Martello tower in about 1941. It used the third-order Fresnel lens from the earlier tower. The lighthouse was automated in 1983.

Opened in 1955, the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge, or colloquially "the old bridge", is one of two suspension bridges between Halifax and Dartmouth across Halifax Harbour.
