The Aviva Stadium is a home to the Irish rugby union team & the Republic of Ireland football team. It opened in May, 2010, replacing the Lansdowne Road stadium, which was demolished in 2007.

The Baily Lighthouse; built in 1814. It comprises a round, unpainted granite tower with a white lantern and gallery with a red railing. It sits on a round keeper's house on the southeastern tip of the Howth Peninsula. Between 1902 and 1972 it used a 1st order Fresnel lens

The Howth Harbour lighthouse was established in 1818. It has a 10 m (33 ft) round cylindrical concrete tower with gallery having a red railing.

St Marys Abbey. The Dublin King Sitric founded the original Abbey in 1042 AD. Later, it was incorporated into the Monastery located on the island called Ireland's Eye. The Archbishop of Dublin built a new church in the 14th century. That building was replaced in the 15th century. Finally, in 1630 AD, the church was, effectively, abandoned so, over the past nearly 400 years, it has fallen into the present ruins.

The Martello Tower in Howth was built in 1805, overlooking Howth Harbour, as protection against an invasion by Napoleon. Many of these were built by the British around the coasts of the British Isles. Today it houses Ye Olde Hurdy Gurdy Museum of Vintage Radio and communication history.

Poolbeg Lighthouse in Dublin Bay. Built in 1768, it used candles until 1786 when it was converted to oil. The present lighthouse dates from 1820.
