The front facade of the house. The main entrance is on the right hand side. Construction of Rosecliff, built for Theresa Fair Oelrichs, started in 1899 and was not completed until 1902. The main architect was Stanford White, who apparently modeled it after the Grand Trianon of Versailles but with a second main floor, and on a simplified and much smaller scale.
